I have had the honor of being an award winning multi published Virginia wedding and portrait photographer! So fun! Speaking of fun, I am a fun loving and energetic woman with an infectious personality that I bring to my business and photography style. My work is like my personality, light and bright which allows me to bring your images to life with those beautiful pops of color you’ll remember every time you take a trip down memory lane!
Having me as your photographer means a lot of things as I wear a lot of hats. You would be getting a photographer who is highly educated in all things photography, is great with communication and has a great turnaround time. Who likes waiting forever for your beautiful images? No one! I will ago above and beyond for you during this entire process and will be a forever sideline cheerleader for you and your family!
Outside of photography, I am a wife and full time mommy to our 2 beautiful girls! In my spare time, I am a creative at heart. I love being artistic in any way possible. I love crafting, thrifting and antiquing! In another life, I would definitely be an interior decorator as that's another thing I take pride in! As you can see, I’ve been so blessed that this amazing hobby of mine turned into a beautiful career! The relationships I build with my amazing clients is the icing on the cake! Here I am 14 years into what I love doing most, capturing memories for you to hold onto forever!

I live in a beautiful small town where I am so blessed to be able to raise my two beautiful girls here. You can catch us on any warm day outside in our back yard blowing bubbles, playing with chalk, playing in the pool or even running after our chickens! Those are some of the most fun photos!! My camera roll finally hit 100,000 images (whoops. sorry not sorry!)
It seriously couldn't get any better than doing both of my favorite jobs in the world. Being a mama and being a photographer to the most amazing clients who have turned into my family. I am so unbelievably blessed!

My background story
My love for photography started at an early age of 13. I knew very quickly that was the only thing I wanted pursue for my future. I was told growing up photography should be a side hobby and that I would never be able to make it in the real world if I did that full-time. I didn't want to listen, but I had to. So I went to college and got a medical degree and the whole time I knew that wasn't where I was supposed to be and all I wanted to do was prove everyone wrong. And I did just that! The year I graduated college was the year my photography business picked up so much and I haven't looked back since!

Growing up, I was so close to my mom and I knew all I wanted in life was to have a successful photography business to be able to provide for my future family one day so I can love going to work and love doing what I do. My mom is my best friend and you better believe she's the first person I text when I welcome a new client into my family! She's my number 1 cheerleader and I strive to be half the mother she is :

You can catch me at any given time day dreaming about all the places I want to travel! I'e been so blessed that I get to travel quite often but they are normally to all my normal travel locations! I'm ready for some more tropical sceneries to visit! Bali anyone??

Ember Rain and Alannah Sky have my heart!! So cool thing about their names is Ember's name is like fire and water! Alannah was named after my brother Alan and Alan means rock. So for Alannah, you have rock and sky! So 4 elements :)

Where do I begin?! Our entire experience with Mandy was wonderful. She knows what she’s doing, she is patient, kind and thoughtful. I had complete trust in her from our first phone conversation and I will definitely be giving her a call when we need any photography in our future. One bonus factor we enjoyed was that Mandy was able to send us, that same night of the wedding, a beautifully edited short story sneak peek album of our day. We also were pleasantly surprised when she was able to send us the rest of the photos in less than two weeks after our wedding day! We’ve received so many compliments on our photos!
